Port of L.B. Honors 菠菜网lol正规平台 Students with Scholarships

菠菜网lol正规平台 Students with Port of Long Beach Officials

Sixteen students from the Long Beach Unified School District students were recently announced as recipients of scholarship awards from the Port of Long Beach. 

The students from Cabrillo High School’s Academy of Global Logistics (AGL) and Jordan High School’s Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) Academy are among 136 recipients selected from local high schools, Long Beach City College and California State University, Long Beach. This year, the Port awarded a total of $300,000 in scholarships as part of its commitment to fostering young talent in port-related fields. Since 2014, the Port has awarded over $1.4 million in scholarships to students pursuing careers in international trade and goods movement.

Additionally, 10 students from Jordan’s ACE Academy were awarded $200 Harbor Freight Tools gift cards — generously donated by the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools program — to help them access essential tools.

The Port also recently announced the forthcoming cohort of paid summer high school interns, which includes 22 students from 菠菜网lol正规平台 schools. The internship will provide valuable hands-on work experience and enable students to explore career pathways in international trade and related fields.
